Well, the season has already started with a bang. I am already on my 10th engagement session this year. It is going to be quite a season. One of my favorite couples so far is Maureen and Mike. Oh my goodness. Words cannot describe how much I love our photos!!! They are more beautiful than I could have imagined.... you did such an amazing job!!! I'm so thankful that you were our photographer.. no one else could have done that. I was looking through the pictures while on the phone with my mom this morning, and I kept making the "oh she got that!" comment. haha I was so happy to see all the little details and pictures that I didn't even know you had taken. That's when she told me that our guests CONTINUE to comment on your professionalism and your ability to be "everywhere". :) I was worried that we hadn't gotten specific pictures because I TOTALLY couldn't remember taking them, but there they were, and they're fabulous! My mom said our family members and wedding party loved how you knew exactly where to put everyone for our family photos, and they even said they felt more relaxed knowing you were in complete control. I'm so thankful for that!!! Thank you for working so hard that day, and all the days after to give us such beautiful memories. We got so much more than we thought we would, thank you. Another great wedding from late last year. First time working at San Ysidro Ranch. One of the nicest locations for a wedding. Just so quiet and peaceful. The stunning flowers were provided by GD Designers and coordinating was provided by the lovely Amy Zelinsky from A to Z Special Events.

Jen & David ~ A Winter Wonderland at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel

One of my favorites of the year! This couple is just so amazing. I had the opportunity to do their fun and funky engagement session and then their amazingly elegant wedding held at the gorgeous Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica. It was a cold and rainy day, which created challenges for all involved, but with the team on this wedding, you would never know it was anything but perfect. Allyson Levine from Bob Gail Events just made everything about this event magical. It was suppose to be an outdoor reception, but got called in last minute due to the weather. Allyson whipped together this “winter wonderland” in this gorgeous ballroom. It is probably one of the best hotel set ups I have ever seen. Was an honor to be involved with all on this wedding. Don’t even need to mention how absolutely stunning they both are…Love you Jen & David!

A wonderful wedding at a private residence with these amazing singer/songwriters. Jocelyn from A Beautiful Day Productions provided the Floral and Décor, Kathleen Hagan from Beau Ideal did the make-up, and Kay Neilson coordinated. I was hired for this wedding just 2 weeks prior and boy am I glad I was included in this very special event. Did I mention a homemade dress, 1st dance written and performed by the bride & groom, and the best….s’more kits by the fire pit.

This year’s card turned out amazing! I designed it myself and had my lab print it and give it a tri-fold. It ended up being reasonably priced and my favorite card to date. Keep me in mind for next years holiday cards. BTW, these are my girls, London, Delaney & Sydnie.

Ok…you have to see this place to believe it. Hopefully these photos do it justice. I was honored to be invited to the bridal expo they held on Sunday evening hosted by Command Performance Catering. Joining me was Jennifer from Belle of the Ball Designs, Reverend Barbara Laughray, Bruce Barrios and Company, Jason & Chris from Elegant Events, Greg from Mr. Loki Productions, Skiff’s Bakery and other amazing vendors.

Another amazing wedding this last weekend at Walnut Grove. But I have to acknowledge 2 things that made this wedding really stand out. One…a gorgeous couple! Two…Floral and décor by Belle of the Ball Designs. I know most of my clients are tired of hearing me talk about this florist…but this is why. This is probably one of the best floral/prop displays I have ever shot. It was also a wedding with a dream team of vendors. Command Performance catering, Jason the DJ from Elegant Events, Reverend Barbara Laughray, Lori Andrews on harp, and coordinator Monique from Mia Bella Weddings. And can’t forget…Sweet an Saucy Shop…they provided these yummy and gorgeous desserts. Hope to work with this bakery again very soon!

Here is a note from the bride to her vendors just a day after her wedding:

I cannot even tell you how blown away I am. I have been so overwhelmed and emotional since the wedding as I sit back and reflect on everything. You all were so amazing and this entire event exceeded my expectations more than you know. Every detail as attended to and nothing was overlooked. I have received endless compliments on the food! And how people cannot believe that serving that many people could be so great. Jen, I cannot even think about you and your efforts without tearing up! You went so over an above it blew me away!!! Kimberlee, your patience is amazing and your artistry is even better. I can't tell you how excited I am to get these pictures back! Thank you for staying late and also being so accommodating!! Jason, thanks for your getting everyone on the dance floor and rocking the house! By the end everyone was out there and it was unreal!! Last and not least.....Monique, you were FANTASTIC! You kept everything on schedule and even attended to broken bustle in a matter of minutes! I'm not sure what I would've done with out you running the show :)

Cute “Thank You” Samples

Just created these 3 sample thank you cards for one of my clients to choose from. I don’t know if I could choose! Cards come in folded or flat and 4x6 or 5x7, with and without envelopes. Keep in mind the holidays are coming and a photo greeting card is so much more personal than a standard store bought card.

They are so down to earth, fun and so in love. Amber + Bobby = True Love

Shot this wedding last weekend at a private estate in Ojai. Luckily the storm going through Southern California passed around us so I could capture the beauty of this gorgeous estate. I had the opportunity to shoot Amber & Bobby’s engagement photos a little while back and fell in love with them then, I knew this wedding would be special..and I was not let down. Command Performance Catering was their in their usual perfect form while Jason from Elegant Events just went over the top with the entertainment. Kay Nielsen made sure the day went perfectly smooth and my favorite cake provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes.

This is just one of those wedding that I walked away and just say “wow”! Everything about it was perfect. The best thing was this large amazing sweet family who just all really loved each other so much and let me into that circle. Thank you so much for letting me be part of such a wonderful day.

A very succulent wedding at Calamgos Ranch...

I shot these last October at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, and since it was such a busy month, I never got the time to show them off! This wedding was for sure a one-of-a-kind event with a one-of-a-kind couple! The first moment I met Nikki and Steve I knew I was going to love them. Involved in this perfect day were the always fabulous Jennifer from Belle of the Ball Designs and her gorgeous flowers (I mean succulents) and the amazingly talented and fun Jason Jones from Elegant Events!
